Steam sign-in is required to submit a support ticket for Rust, S&box, and Garry's Mod.
These games use Steam as their primary platform, and signing in allows us to verify ownership and securely identify the account you're requesting support for.
If you can't access a Steam account, you can still browse our self-help articles and troubleshooting guides.
You can also ask other players for assistance in our official community Discord servers:
Without signing in through Steam, we cannot provide account-specific support or process support tickets.
No.
You must sign in with the Steam account that owns the game and is associated with the issue you're requesting support for.
Signing in with a different Steam account prevents us from verifying ownership and means we cannot provide account-specific support.
If you've lost access to your Steam account, you'll need to recover it through Steam Support first.
Once you've regained access to your Steam account, you'll be able to sign in and contact Facepunch Support if further assistance is needed.
If your Steam account was compromised and used to cheat, any resulting Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) bans will remain in place.
Account owners are responsible for the security of their Steam account, regardless of who was using it when the cheating occurred.
For more information about EAC bans, see EAC Banned.
Our Support only provides support for the PC versions of Facepunch games.
If you need help with Rust Console Edition, please contact Double Eleven Support.
If you need help with Rust Mobile, please use the official Rust Mobile support channels or Discord provided by Level Infinite. Facepunch does not provide support for Rust Mobile.
